Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party company that supplies those results. Our servers do not retain a copy of that query. When you contact us, we receive the details included in your message and use them to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to maintain site performance and understand general page use. Basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement may rely on cookies or comparable technologies.
How Information Is Used
We use limited visitor data to operate the service, diagnose faults, measure traffic, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to Beloit, Rock County, or Wisconsin records offices, libraries, archives, and outside search providers. Information submitted on those services is controlled by their privacy policies, not this one. The same rule applies to sponsored results furnished by a third party.
Parties That Process Data
Companies that host or support the site may process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising providers can receive the automatic information described above. We also disclose information when required by valid legal process.
Security and Retention
An encrypted connection protects traffic to the site, and logs are retained only for as long as the stated purposes require. Because visitors do not create accounts, the site holds no user password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted information so that it can be deleted.
Your Privacy Choices
Your place of residence may give you rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information kept by a website. Wisconsin has no comprehensive consumer data-privacy law identified in the official research used for this policy, so no broader state right is claimed here. Because we retain very little, a request generally involves checking contact messages and available server logs, then removing information we control when appropriate. Submit a request through the Contact page. Records held by Beloit, Rock County, or Wisconsin agencies remain under the control of the government custodian, and requests about those records must go to that office. Access to government records is governed by Wisconsin Public Records Law, Wis. Stat. ยงยง 19.31-19.39, along with other disclosure and confidentiality rules.
Policy Revisions
Revisions will appear on this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
